POSITION SUMMARY:
Position reports to China sales manager. Work closely with the global marketing communications team to execute programs and strategies related to the areas of digital marketing, lead generation, trade shows, public relations, distributor relations, collateral management, and web and sales support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
Digital Marketing Support
- Oversee implementation of the marketing strategy, including campaigns, events and digital marketing
- Maintenance of company website
- SEO - Optimize web content for search engines and use statistical analysis to support decisions
- Participate in the development of eMarketing strategies and ensure their successful execution (Email, PPC, SEO, Social media), including building and executing email campaigns, landing pages, and paid advertising campaigns
- Coordinate and manage distribution lists for various internal and external communications
- Manage processes in Salesforce.com (CRM system) and assist in database cleanup and optimization
Trade Show and Events Support
- Provide support for all trade shows, events and conferences including: assist with booth design, trade show logistics, message planning, and development of marketing and promotional materials, onsite support, and pre and post-show marketing promotions
Management and Updating of Collateral and Translations
- Manage the services of, and act as liaison between, the company and external agencies, for translation and printing
- Evaluate production processes and obtain printing and translation quotes to maximum the return on investment
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or MBA or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Chinese is required
- At least 3-4 years experience in a Marketing and/or Communications role
- At least 2-3 years experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- At least 2-3 years experience with PPC campaign development, management, and landing page development (preferably Baidu)
- At least 1-2 years experience with a marketing automation tool (such as Hubspot, Eloqua, Pardot, or Marketo) and building emails and landing pages
- At least 1-2 years experience with a CRM tool (Salesforce.com a plus)
- Experience with a CMS tool a plus (such as Drupal)
- At least 1-2 years of experience with gathering and summarizing analytics (using tools such as Baidu analytics, Google Analytics)
- Strong interpersonal and good verbal/written communication skills are necessary
- Minimum of basic knowledge with Photoshop preferred
- Lead generation experience with knowledge and competency in modern marketing practices
- Excellent organization and management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated superior ability to think independently and effectively prioritize projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment with a positive and proactive attitude
- Skills with managing external vendors and prioritization of duties
- Global experience or experience working within an international company is a plus
- Previous B2B marketing experience is a plus
- Experience with social media is a plus (such as WeChat)
