The Platform architect role will bring design and thought leadership with focus on
application platforms and services primarily based on public cloud services to a team of platform and application engineers to design, engineer and deploy next generation cloud native applications. The ideal person for this role would be passionate about cloud computing, cloud native technologies, continuous integration and continuous deployment, and want to build and oversee deployment of highly scalable, next generation application platforms leveraging leading public cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Ali Cloud.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.10+ years of overall application and integration engineering experience with 5+ years as an architect.
• 5+ years deep experience in designing and deploying on leading cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Ali Cloud.
• 5+ experience in design and development of web and enterprise applications and their deployment in various infrastructure patterns in data centers and cloud platforms.
• 10 + years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes in CI/CD, code pipelines etc.
• Hands-on and detailed knowledge of advanced patterns such as microservices, API development, service-oriented architecture, web services (SOAP and REST), messaging systems, frameworks and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrable experience in messaging technologies (e.g. JMS, RabbitMQ, SQS, AMQP, WebSphere MQ etc.) and experience in integration technologies such as Google Apigee, WSO2, Kafka, Active MQ and other related software is advantageous.
• Visual modeling skills using UML required
• Experience in Data integrations - ETL Tools (Talend, Spark, Glue etc.) and Data Lake
• Experience with broad variety of open source technologies and vendors
