- Manage Operations - Overall responsibilities for the plant Production, Quality, HSE, Maintenance and Engineering, CI, Scheduling & Logistics, Procurement (site procurement call off or release)

- Provide direction - within own plant on the implementation of the ISC strategy and (Nouryon Leading Performance System) - specifically Standard Work Processes (incl. HSE), Continuous Improvement and Operational/Functional Excellence etc.

- Set culture - Establish a plant culture of functional and operational excellence, continuous improvement, accountability, professionalism and commitment to company values and behaviors by implementing (DO) (CI, strategic initiatives, standard CoE processes, tools and training, roles and responsibilities)

- Lead Performance and Delivery - Plan, lead, organize & control the delivery (ready to serve) of the plant's contribution to business objectives and overall performance (in terms of safety, reliability, productivity, service, cost, quality and material/eco-efficiency and community stewardship) and provide insights regarding developments based on analysis.

- Manage Hazards - Look for and respond effectively to hazards in safety, health, and environment, taking account of people, plant, community and procedures.

- Build Organization - Be a role model in talent management through developing a strong talent bench for key positions at plant, enhancing talent development and engagement levels.

- Set example - Walk the talk by living the Nouryon values and working across Functions and Business Areas to drive the overall Nouryon strategy for improved and leading performance for our stakeholders.

- Communicate strategy - Ensure ISC strategy is cascaded to the plant organization effectively to ensure appropriate alignment of focus and relevant information and issues are fed back up.

- Engage stakeholders - Maintain and oversee relations with external stakeholders to ensure the company values and license to operate are sustained.

Requirements:

• University or college degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical). Experience with Materials Management, Logistics, Operations Management or Business administration or the equivalent is a preference.
• 8~10 years' experience in a supervisory position in a chemical manufacturing environment preferably in a multinational context. Experience with process safety management is required.
• Strong leadership skills and proven working knowledge regarding QHSE issues, project management, production organizations, logistics, planning systems, customer service, material usage and cost control.
• Stress resistant, pro-active self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines, set priorities and use time effectively to accomplish tasks.
• Fluent speaking and writing English.
