Summary:

Coordinate the production of finished goods for a simple to moderately product line while balancing plant efficiency, sales, distribution, customer service and inventory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


1. Determine finished goods inventory levels based on inventory strategies and business rules.

2. Independently develop schedules for simple to moderately complex product lines using system tools and/or develop purchasing plans for outside finished good suppliers.

3. Analyze plant capacity for one or multiple plants and manage product conversions and new product introductions independently.

4. Partner with marketing to understand demand forecast and determine appropriate production plans.

5. Meet service and inventory targets to meet business objectives.

6. Assist in the management of global distribution, while taking ownership of the global supply chain.

7. Primary liaison between marketing, finance, business forecast, engineering, plants, customer service, BEC, etc.

8. Work on projects assigned by senior management. May assist in leading projects of limited scope.

9. Reconcile and maintain code level inventory to meet business needs.

10. Maintain product code data and statistics in various systems (JDE, OPPI, SYNC).

11. Assist in the development and communication of long term operating plans to reflect overall plant/product line sales, production and inventory.

12. Identify and inform manager of excess, slow move and obsolete inventory issues. Recommends actions that should be taken to resolve issues and potential opportunities within supply chain.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor Degree Required
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint Skills required
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Experience with J.D. Edwards and Tableau Analytics & Reporting preferred
