Responsibilities:
? Have the capability to provide neonatal resuscitation at every delivery.
? Provide continuing care for premature low birth Wight infants as assigned
? Apply cares include equipment for resuscitation, maintenance of thermoneutral environment, blood transfusion and general nursing procedures.
? Provide assisted ventilation including continuous positive airway pressure.
? Provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders.
? Work together with upper-level nurses and physicians and facilitate treatment plans and examinations.
? Ability to work effectively along with a healthcare team.
? Evaluating nursing care given and communicating to proper personnel relevant facts about patients, action taken and patient responses.
? Maintains quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
? Observes and documents pertinent information that reflects the patient’s clinical condition, with respect to the entire human being.
? Professionalism and positive work attitude
? Carry out hospital’s policy and procedure properly
? Performs or supervises treatment and administers medications as required.
? Educate parents or relative on the infant's condition and prepare care instructions after the infant is discharged from the hospital.
? Take preceptor role to provide new nurse orientation and training in the department.
? Be known as special care nurseries and have all of the capabilities of lower level nurse.
Demonstrates ability to perform following nursing skills:
? Management of Emergency Situation in NICU
? Use of Incubator ,radiant warmer
? Use of Oxygen Blender
? Use of T-piece Resuscitator
? Use of Bubble-CPAP
? Use of Et-CO2 Sensor setting and Monitoring
? Assisting in Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation
? Assisting in Umbilical Artery/Venae Catheterization
? Endotracheal Care
? Assisting in Neonatal Chest Tube Insertion and Removal.
? NICU Arterial Puncture and Blood Sampling.
? Assisting in Premature ROP Examination
? PICC Dressing Change
? Intra-facility and Inter-facility Neonatal Transfer
? Bladder Catheterization for Infant

Qualifications:
? Licensing Needed - Registered nurse in China.
? Minimal Education Requirement- Associate Nursing Degree.
? Minimal Experience Requirement – 5years working experience in nursing. Minimum 2 years oversea nursing experience preferred.
? NICU specialty training certification preferred.
? Complete department orientation and competency evaluation according to policy.
? BLS, NRP, PALS certification according to policy.
