What you will do
This person will be responsible for supporting Payroll and Project Manager in overseeing, managing & administering the Payroll function. He/she will work closely with Country Human Resources and Payroll Manager to ensure payroll management is aligned to regulators’ requirement and support the business goals and objectives. This role and its responsibility will evolve to managing payroll vendor’s performance including validation of payroll results etc.

He/she will work closely with Country Human Resources and Payroll Manager to ensure payroll management is aligned to regulators’ requirement and support the business goals and objectives. This role and its responsibility will evolve to managing payroll vendor’s performance including validation of payroll results etc.
How you will do it
- Work with local HR and data owners in preparation of payroll project migration data
- Coordinate with payroll implementation partners to design, test and roll out modules for the countries assigned
- In liaison with local HR and Payroll Project Manager to maintain the relevant project tracking documents so that the implementation team has visibility of progress, actions and risk
- Maintain appropriate data integrity, access levels and legislative compliance adhering to various regulations
- Document all payroll related policies / procedures and ensure they are updated periodically
- Responsible for Payroll / year end processing and payroll posting for the countries assigned
- Update and align standard operating models including standard payroll report formats, SOP, checklist, payroll calendars etc.
- Provide accurate and timely submission of tax filing
- Liaise with third party vendors to ensure smooth and timely delivery of payroll
- Answer enquiries on payroll, accounting and relocation program related matters
- Responsible for system enhancement projects and ad hoc initiatives related to process improvement
- Keeps abreast of “best practices” and changing regulatory requirements at the national & local level to ensure meeting Company Compliance

Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, Business or related field required
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in Payroll/HR operations
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, capable of delivering presentations and coordinating work teams in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in multiple projects
- Attention to details
- Experience in Payroll and in particular Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan markets
- Experience in Ramco, Workday / Microsoft CRM Dynamics
- Immediately available is an advantage
