Job Description
Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK today has developed into a young, dynamic, full-fledged university. We began offering full-time face-to-face programmes since 2001 and currently have about 10,000 full-time and 9,000 part-time students in the five Schools at the OUHK with about 220 programmes of studies. In addition, there are about 2,000 full-time/part-time students studying in LiPACE.

Job: Temporary/Part-time Academic

Major Duties & Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- assisting in, and where necessary, undertaking course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes;
- conducting tutorials, marking assignments/examination scripts; and
- performing other related teaching and administrative duties.
Requirements
Requirements for relevant courses are as follows:
- PSYC A322F Life-Span Developmental Psychology
- GEN A117F Psychology of Work and Internship Preparation
Applicants should possess at least a recognized degree in Psychology. Preference will be given to those with a relevant higher degree and teaching experience at tertiary level.
The appointees will be required to work for the period from September 2019 to January 2020 for a maximum of 17 hours per week. For further details, please contact Ms. Kwok at 2768-5712.
Compensation Package
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
