The post is open for teaching the following postgraduate course:
COMM5980 New Media Ecology
for the MSc programme in New Media.

The course aims to examine the business ecosystem of the media industry. It provides key theories and frameworks to understand the ecosystems, economic interplay, business models and media planning. The course provides a foundation from which students can analyze problems, identify new opportunities, develop innovative ideas, and conduct necessary research that determines the best approach to create business values.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline or a Master degree with at least 8 years’ relevant experience. Recent PhD degree graduates are also welcome to apply. Experience in teaching or research on related topics will be an advantage.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for five months commencing January 2021, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance.
