Salary : $693 per hour (Contract Period: 1 year) (Required to work 16 hours per week)
Duties : (a) To map out the holistic plan on the promotion of Constitution and Basic Law education and national education through Mainland Exchange programmes; (b) To plan, implement and evaluate professional development programmes targeted at principals and teachers on national education for dissemination of good practices in whole-school curriculum planning; (c) To keep schools abreast of the latest development of the strategies in the promotion of national education through school visit; and (d) To perform any other duties as assigned.
Entry Requirements: (a) A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent [See Remarks (i)]; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [See Remarks (i)]; (c) At least 12 years’ relevant post-qualification [as specified in (a) & (b)] teaching experience or education related experience such as school support, school inspection and curriculum development, among which a candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in holding a management position experience [See Remarks (ii)]; (d) Good command of both English and Chinese; (e) Good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; (f) Awareness of latest development of the curriculum; and (g) Command strong network with relevant stakeholders, such as School Sponsoring bodies, local experts in the field and counterparts in the Mainland in discharging duties related to the promotion of the Constitution and Basic Law education and national education in schools.
Remarks :
(i)Candidates should mark clearly on their application forms the major and minor subjects studied in their degree courses. Candidates possessing additional qualifications (e.g. a second/higher degree in a relevant subject) should include details in their applications.
