Job Description
The Packing Project Manager has for mission to support to propose to optimize the packing & ensure the merchandise’s safety during transportation & manipulation. She/he sets up the packing library, source shipping mark/ carton solution suppliers, control the development of professional solutions based on standards meant for high productivity all along the chain, their application in the factories and the final results up to the Stores shelves.
Responsibilities:
- Design and propose the best packing solutions for cost efficiency and safety delivery.
- Design of packing dimension as it relates to the PDQ design, palletization, container shipments. Ensure it is compatible with supply chain priorities.
- Lead team to co-ordinate with commercial departments to optimize packing material and resolve packing issues via meetings, pre-collection or sourcing trips.
- Work with suppliers to update them on Carrefour's packing plans.
- Ensure all packing designs are correctly developed according to requests.

Upstream assessment and delivery of Packing 1st Solution for the preparation of the tenders (Permanent Ranges)
Profile requirements:
- Packing engineering education background
- 5 years experience in packing solution development in retailing related industry (export business)
- Good analysis and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working with different teams

Proficient in MS Excel applications (Word, Excel, Power-point)
Knowledge of the cartons, materials, professional experience in cardboard factories will be a plus.
