• 2 years development/project management experience minimum
• Package Engineering Degree or related engineering degree required
• Beauty industry/consumer goods experience
• Fluent in English

DETAIL RESPONSABILITIES / 主要职责

• Participate in brainstorming exchange and presentation of new ideas/concepts with and to central team and design on a global basis.
• React to central team work requests by providing a project feasibility function, manufacturability, component cost, tooling estimates, timetable, risks, and global consistency.
• Support and summarize with critical issues and action-plan the Design review process meeting with central team, Design, Packaging, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technical Packaging, and Quality Assurance.
• Develop preliminary outlines (identifying development responsibility for international projects).
• Submission of all packages to Package Testing with the required samples and technical information.
• Request preliminary costs from Purchasing team, and compare to the technical feasibilities.
• Enter specifications and distribute.
• Initiate and supervise decoration requests (art works, proofreading, distribution, etc.) and validation of related development elements.
• Selection of sourcing with Purchasing, insuring the proper quality and economic benefits using Supply Base Management Guidelines.
• Develop the package utilizing the technical support groups (Technical Packaging, Package Testing, and Manufacturing Engineering) to achieve the intended design, quality, cost objectives, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Review and sign all blueprints (in conjunction with Technical Packaging), and develop the package specification. Establish component and color standards, and insure proper distribution.
• Drive value analysis activities and process flow evaluation to achieve efficiency and cost reduction.
• Assure that Packaging meets Regulatory and Environmental Legislation and consumer safety.
• Keep informed through colleagues, vendors, journals, professional affiliations, and seminars of new materials, processes, and procedures.
• Visit suppliers and production facilities worldwide to advise, consult, and report on all packaging issues and status.
• Report regularly on status of development issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Actively participate on multifunctional teams, and recommend creative solutions while exhibiting an enthusiastic, flexible, and positive attitude.
• Support the mission/objectives/strategies of the Packaging Department.
