Job Description

FEA simulation of Li-Ion battery pack according to automotive requirements:

• Definition of simulation targets together with the responsible engineer

？- Definition of boundary conditions needed for simulations together with the designer e.g. forces, temperatures, contacts etc.

？- Preparation of the 3D CAD model for simulation (e.g. reducing the model complexity)

？- Meshing the simulation model

？- Applying the boundary conditions e.g. loads, material properties, degree of freedom etc.

？- Interpretation of simulation results

？- Derivate improvements of the current product/component design based on simulation results

？- Documentation of simulation results

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering
• 2 years above FEM simulation experience (static force, dynamic force and thermal simulation) on products which consist of plastic and metal components
• Familiar with different kinds of material properties (plastic, metal, AL…)
• Perform FEA simulations
• Good communication skills
• Good？English？skill？in？both？written？and？oral
