Mission and Purpose

Inside the R&D department for Development of Automated Driving/ICV it must be ensured that the appropriate processes are created, adapted and implemented and followed to ensure effective and efficient development activities. In order to achieve this, an experienced process manager is needed that ensures on a cross departmental level, that the right processes are followed, introduced and the necessary tools, knowledge and infrastructure is set up. This includes all relevant aspects of technical process management ensuring that the technical projects meet all the targets. The right candidate will be integrated into an international development team that operates between Germany and China.

Job Duties:

• Process Management in an automotive R&D environment
• Ensuring fulfilment of relevant development processes e.g. for Golden Rules, ISO 9001, Automotive SPICE etc.
• Conducting gap analysis, improvement, development & implementation of all relevant processes
• Alignment and communication with all relevant stakeholders for the processes in China & Germany
• Regular reporting to Chinese & German Management
• Escalation of critical topics to higher management

Qualifications:

Education:

• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Information Technology, Economics or other highly relevant education background

Professional skills:

• Advanced experience in the field of process development, preferably in an automotive company
• Familiar with Automotive SPICE, CMMI and other assessment models
• Certification as Automotive SPICE assessor or similar qualification would be a big advantage
• Experience in the field of project management
• Working experience for an OEM or a first-tier supplier is a big advantage
• Knowledge of the technical development process at OEM
• Proficient MS Office skills
