• Keeps up to date on prospects’ current issues, researches new information on prospects

• Retains and expands existing client relationships and acquires new ones

• Identifies key decision makers, clients or prospects risks needs and determines the services, products, and combinations that will best serve and address the client/prospect’s issues and objectives

• Leads the development of customized solutions to address the client/prospect needs by offering innovative solutions, resolving difficult risk issues, providing customer support and introducing Marsh/PEMA Resources as appropriate.

• Effectively presents the solutions to the client/prospect and negotiates compensation

• Manages the financial performance of his/her book of business

• Develops a business plan for portfolio of clients and prospects to meet specific retention and sales goals

• Oversees quality of deliverables and enforcing critical deadlines; where it is PEMA’s own product lines (including without limitation, W&I insurance), executes the relevant projects with minimal supervision

• Manages projects throughout the entire process including drafting reports, coaching project team members to timely delivering the result and following up any client’s requests

  
  

  Requirements:

  
  

• Must be articulated (in both Chinese and English)

• Willing to make monthly trips in China (including Hong Kong)

• Relevant Degree

• Prior experience in business development/ Bidding Proposal preparation

• Prior experience in P&C products

• Possesses solid project management, business development, client management skills

• Excellent people management, time management, communication (written and verbal), presentation and problem solving skills

• Independent worker, capable of managing projects and timelines

• Insurance knowledge will be a plus but not required deep technical knowledge

• Knowledge of PE industry will be a plus

• Personality should fall between, director, motivator and inspirer
