Runs W&I projects in M&A deals
Keeps up to date on prospects’ current issues, researches new information on prospects (e.g., M&A deal intelligence)
Retains and expands existing client relationships and acquires new ones
Leads the development of customized solutions to address the client/prospect needs by offering innovative solutions, resolving difficult risk issues, providing client support and introducing Marsh/PEMA Resources as appropriate.
Effectively presents the solutions to the client/prospect and demonstrate Marsh’s edge over other competitors in M&A deals
Manages the financial performance of his/her book of business
Oversees quality of deliverables and enforces critical deadlines
Manages projects throughout the entire process including reviewing transaction documents, advising clients, negotiating insurance policies, and presenting during training sessions/workshops/seminars.
Requirements:
Fluent and articulated in both Chinese and English
Willing to make regular trips within China (including Hong Kong)
Relevant Degree and at least 3 years of experience at a reputable law firm
Prior experience in business development/ Bidding Proposal preparation
Possesses solid project management, business development, client management skills
Excellent people management, time management, communication (written and verbal), presentation and problem solving skills
Independent worker, able to take own initiative and meet deadlines
Knowledge of PE industry will be a plus
Personality should fall between, director, motivator and inspirer
