In this position, you will be responsible of an international pricing team
located in Europe / Asia. As Pricing manager you will support the team to act
as a guardians of the P&L and Opportunity Consultants to the sales function,
by providing bid reviews and commercial sign off within assigned delegation
matrix, in order to drive sales and profit for Lenovo. As Manager you will
facilitate the resources, knowledge and guidance to the team.
Pricing Manager is responsible for:
• Manage the team workload and needs with in the organization.
• Conduct performance reviews and support the team on improvements, education
or any need the team might have to achieve their potential.
• Ensure the system and process are adequate, always looking for improvements
to have a better and more efficient process.
• Work with other Geographies managers on system enhancements and the
standardization of the pricing process across Lenovo.
• Support the team and participate on the following pricing tasks:
o Conduct a detailed review of Customer requirement with the Sales teams,
ensure appropriate pricing methodology is selected and profit maximized for
each opportunity
o Maximize bid profitability through detailed understanding of component cost
environment and roadmap – provide guidance to Sales on most economically
advantageous offering
o Review product offering with Sales / Product managers to ensure Lenovo has a
compliant offering, guard against adding additional cost from 'over
configuring'
o Provide Sales teams with a response to commercial questions contained in
Customer tenders / Lenovo response documents
o Work with Profit Managers/Legal team to ensure any non-standard deals have
had appropriate risk review and results have been factored into pricing
decision making
Financial modelling of opportunities in MS Excel format, applying appropriate
cost adjustments
• Ensure Price settings have been approached with due diligence and is based
upon known market requirement or precedence
• Think “outside of the box” to drive for innovative ways to increase
profitability / win rates
#### Position Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in pricing and 3 years as People Manager.
• Excellent people management skills: able to provide effective feedback,
support and enhance the communication within the team.
• Ability to identify and solve organization behavior issues within the team.
• Fluent Business English (oral and written). Another European language is an
advantage
• Excellent skills with standard software tools / systems (MS Excel,
Powerpoint, Outlook)
• Proven track record of delivering results in metrics -driven operational
environment
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to achieve the targets and meet
the deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong planning and time management skills
• SAP knowledge advantageous
• Education in Finance / Accounting is a plus

Base gross monthly salary from minimum 2100 EUR and above, depending on
experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
