本职位位于上海著名双语学校新校区。本校区为上海首家招生中国学生就读的IBDP课程学校，一直是全国国际课程的领军人物，以学生优异的升学成绩，名列上海乃至全国国际教育的前茅。2019年本校区，开设IEP国际课程实验班，面向全国招生，将十余年来积累的海外多国升学经验，为广大学生提供更加符合中国学生实际需求的教学方法和课程设计，引入了国际一流的教学管理班底，和资源内容，以PBL（Project Based Learning ）课程为特色，以结果导向思维，推动学生好奇探索精神、重视能力培养、扎根行业最新知识、此课程实验班将于本部IB一起成为全国国际教育建立新标杆的“双子星”。

职位介绍

我们正在寻找能够将自己在学术届的研究实践经验以生动有趣的形式传递给学生的候选人，担任在2019-2020学年教授高中部特色课程 “PBL Core通识课” 的授课人。此课程为IEP项目的必修课程，我们希望授课人能在基本的课程大纲基础上，发挥自身的学术特长，带领从未接触过研究、论文写作和实践项目的学生，进入到这个神奇的世界，学习最核心完成任何项目需要的技能点和方法论，培养他们深入探索学科项目的兴趣。按照你的个人兴趣，你也可以与我们一起优化和探索更好的教学方式和授课内容，参与课程研发团队的工作中，也可以更深入的参与到学生的项目过程，成为他们的导师。我们会为你配有一名助教，共同配合完成全部课程。

角色和責任

• 课程准备时期

• 熟悉前期提供的全部资料，并在开课前与课程团队一起确认课程教案

• 完成基本的教师培训，学习课堂工具教具的使用

• 授课时期（一学年两学期）

• 每周二下午2课时，讲座形式授课，语言可以为中文或英文，对象为80名高一新生

• 每周完成至少1课时的现场Office Hour，和1课时线上Office Hour

• 管理1名助教，与他配合完成全部作业的布置、指导、批改、课程教案的准备。

• 每堂课后进行及时反馈

• 布置和反馈学生作业、考试、项目汇报

• 参与必要的教师会议

• 主动与学生直接沟通，解决学生的困难

• 完课后

• 设计执行相关考试和项目展示

• 计算学生成绩，给予最终评语

• 提交学期总结报告和对课程内容的建设性意见

• 985/211以上大学本科毕业，有充足的研究实践经验，优先有海外教育或教学背景

Job introduction

We are looking for candidates who can pass on their academic research experience in a lively and interesting form to the students, and serve as the instructor of the PBL Core General Course, which teaches the high school curriculum in the 2019-2020 school year. This course is a compulsory course for the IEP students. We hope that the instructor can use his or her academic expertise based on the basic syllabus to lead students who have never been exposed to research, essay writing and practical projects to enter this magical world. Learn the skills and methodologies needed to complete any project at the core and develop their interest in exploring the subject project. According to your personal interests, you can also work with us to optimize and explore better teaching methods and teaching content, participate in the work of the curriculum development team, and participate more deeply in the student project process and become their project mentor. We will have a teaching assistant for you to complete the entire course.

Role and responsibility

• Course preparation period

• Read all the materials provided carefully, and confirm the course plan with the course team before the start of the semester.

• Complete basic teacher training and learn the use of classroom tool aids

• Teaching period (two semesters in one academic year)

• 2 lessons in the afternoon of every Tuesday, in the form of lectures, the instructive language can be Chinese or English, and the target is 80 high school freshmen.

• Complete at least 1 hour of on-site Office Hour per week, and 1 hour online Office Hour

• Manage one assistant, and cooperate with him to complete the arrangement, guidance, correction, and preparation of the course plan.

• Timely feedback after each class for the course team

• Arrange and feedback student assignments, exams, project reports

• Participate in the necessary teacher meetings

• Actively communicate with students to solve students' difficulties

• After class

• Design execution exams and project demonstrations

• Calculate student grades and give final comments

• Submit a semester summary report and constructive comments on the course content

Ideal candidate

• Passionate about education and students, agree with PBL's teaching philosophy

• Bachelor degree from above 985/211 college, with sufficient research and practical experience, overseas education or teaching background preferred

• Have experience in giving large lectures, and understands what students need.

• Must have good oral English skills

• Excellent cooperation and communication skills
