OUP China enters the China’s ELT market in collaboration with reputable publishers, importers and distributors aiming to make a difference in people’s lives through education and learning English.

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Professional Development Services Consultant with excellent communication and presentation skills from the English language and teaching (ELT) field to empower the users of OUP products and services to advance and thrive.

Responsibilities include:
To plan, create, deliver and coordinate professional development seminars or resources (free and paid) in order to enhance the division’s educational profile and customer reach nationally.
To write and deliver professional development content (presentations, seminars, etc.) on behalf of OUP on a range of topics and titles in order to support specific local or international campaigns, face-to-face and online.
To write or commission and edit promotional and pedagogical talks for trainers and consultants to deliver, in order to improve the quality and quantity of seminars/workshops which can be delivered.
To support the marketing team by providing pedagogical and methodology input and a teacher-perspective as requested, such as in website and email campaign.
To develop plans to maximize potential deals through professional development product and services.

About You
An English native-speaker with substantial experiences in EFL/ESL teaching and teacher training in China who is willing to travel extensively and work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have:
A professional manner and excellent communication skills
Excellent presentation skills
High levels of literacy, numeracy, and computer proficiency
A good honours degree or equivalent in TESOL/TEFL
Responsible to changes of market’s needs
Some commercial and marketing experiences
