Springer Nature is looking for Outreach Communication Manager to join our team in Beijing. These roles will be supporting operations for US-based company, American Journal Experts.

[Outreach Communication Manager]

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as AJE China Evangelist and focus on:
• Develop market-specific educational content and presentations/trainings delivery for the Chinese researcher
• Manage and share educational content via AJE Chinese social media accounts;
• Deliver workshops, seminars for researchers either onsite or online
• Increase AJE visibility and capability in the Chinese local academic community: institution department, local STEM English journal, STEM association
• Coordinate with Account Development Manager and Customer support team for key account maintenance and institution selling activities
• Attend industry events, conference and make on-site visits to clients as required
• Act as China publication sector expert and support:
• Localize AJE global content to China Market
• Improve U.S headquarters’ understanding of the Chinese academia sector
• Identify impact of government policy and new market trends, recommend risk-mitigation, new product development projects or growth opportunities for Research Square and AJE

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master or Phd degree from STM background, majored in Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, life science, Physics and etc
• Strong interest to make big impact to Chinese researcher community
• Record of many numbers of paper published in international journals and strong understanding of international journal
• 5 + years of local institution, college library, STM association or STM journal experience
• Passionate about sharing publication experience and act as a key opinion leader within online community is a plus
• Good written and outstanding public presentation skills in both Chinese and English;
• Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues from local to global offices and across functional teams.
