The Oracle DMP provides an intelligent marketing hub that helps market leaders centralize their audience planning and activation to deliver superior media, content, and commerce experiences that drive consumer engagement, strengthen brands, and improve business performance.

 

Oracle is looking for a highly motivated and proven sales executive who understands the convergence of ad/marketing tech and is passionate about the transformational change data can make on large enterprise clients. This individual will be part of the ODC Core Sales Team.

 

Responsibilities\:

Maintain a territory account plan, prospect new and existing Oracle accounts, identify qualified opportunities, and drive sales cycles to closed deals.

Manage the business with an accurate sales pipeline 3X that of the quota.

Leverage consultative selling to help Brands achieve their business objectives with Oracle technology.

Ability to call on and deliver conceptual presentations to all relevant titles and business groups within the prospect companies.

Ability to continuously learn and keep up with the ever-changing landscape within Advertising and Marketing technology.   

 

Basic Requirements\:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent

2 years applicable AdTech and/or Data Management Platform experience

5 years Sales experience

Proven track record of attaining quota goals in a sales role

Ability to travel

 

Qualifications\:

This work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of data management.  Candidates will have\:

Strong understanding of Advertising technology and the value of data collection, audience management, and cross channel activation.

Proven success and experience running executive level meetings

Strong presentation skills and ability to tell compelling stories tied to solving a customer’s business issues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Examples of being a team player who thrives in a rapidly changing environment  

!|!Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
