As an Activation Sales Manager for Independent Agencies, you’ll have
responsibility to manage a sales team that drives revenue within your assigned
territory and the associated book of business. Our team is responsible for
working with agencies and their respective clients across North America, with a
focus on selling and driving adoption of our solutions for Audience and Contextual
targeting (brand safety and brand suitability).
We are seeking a seasoned team leader with sales and digital marketing experience
managing sales teams calling on agencies, brands, ad tech platforms and media
partners. The right candidate will be motivated by building new relationships with
internal stakeholders, playing an active role on the Sales management team, and
helping his/her team navigate external budget holders / decision makers. Our Activation
Sales team is part of a great, collaborative culture that is integral to Oracle
Data Cloud’s success – and we’re looking for candidates who will help build and
deepen this culture.
Key responsibilities include\:
Team Leader of an
experiences group of sellers that have ownership of a set of agencies and
clients across several verticals (Retail, CPG, Tech, Telco, etc.). Your team’s primary
goal is to build, maintain and deepen relationships with stakeholders both
externally (agency, client, channel partners, etc.) and internally to maximize
the revenue growth with our client set.
In partnership
with our Account Management leaderships team, you will work with your team to craft
an approach to deepening engagement and adoption that helps brands drive
successful digital marketing outcomes and thereby helps ODC to become “core
infrastructure” – that is, turn ODC into an integral partner in their success.
As a result of this work, you will accelerate our influence and revenue growth
across Audience and Contextual targeting solutions.
Sales leadership
team member\: In addition to leading your team of direct reports, you will work
with sales and cross-functional management internally to break down barriers
and accelerate revenue growth.
Skills and Qualifications\:
2-3 Years of Sales
management experience within Media, AdTech, and/or at an Agency Knowledge of
the Independent Agency ecosystem
Sales experience calling
on client, agency, ad tech or media partners driving revenue growth and successful
outcomes for their marketing programs.
Specific
experience with digital media and leveraging 3p and contextual/brand safety
data is strongly preferred.
Ability to
prioritize is key – focusing on products, relationships and work that most
directly fosters growth
Must be diligent and
persistent – with the drive, research skills and influencer identification
abilities to establish new client/agency relationships.
Must be
detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills that can juggle many client/agency
relationships and activities at a time. Willingness to track and document
activity in CRM system is key.
Strong interpersonal
skills, positivity and the ability to embrace change effectively are critical
to success.
Ability to work
effectively with a seasoned Solutions Consultant is highly important to success
– building a trusted partnership between sales (to build, improve and deepen
the relationship set) and solutions (to develop and execute the strategy to
delight key stakeholders, increase product adoption and revenue growth)

ability to work effectively with the Activation (and cross-functional) team to
identify best practices, work through key hurdles, and drive towards growth
across all accounts – not just those you own.

Executes the strategic marketing and new business plans for all assigned partners to meet or exceed assigned business goals. Works with Partners to identify opportunities and create demand through lead generation activities and target account selling strategies. Actively track joint sales pipeline and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Develop and maintain relationships with Oracle Partners and executing the Partner Engagement plan. Establish and maintain partner preference for Oracle solutions. Monitor partners business results, making recommendations for improvements to increase penetration for the strategic partners. Establish rules of engagement and operational escalation procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. May frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity. Prefer strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills.
