• Analyze customer and marketing technical requirements,design and develop new or custom designed OSA products with optical simulations/tollerance anlaysis/XTalk analysis to meet requirments.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, process and test engineers to design prodcut optical architecture , define alignment procedures.
• Cooperation with process engineering to realise design for manufacturability(DFM), verify and improve the product optical performance.
• Defining the specification of optical components, selection of suitable suppliers and qualificaiton of suppliers.
• Support the transfer of new designs to manufacturing, and resolve any optical technical design issues. Interact with the new product introduction group to assist in the introduction to manufacturing of new designs.

• Master degree in Optics, Electro-optics, Physics or Electrical Engineering with strong optics and fiber optic background. 2+ yeasr working experience.
• Ability to use optical simulation tools such as Zemax/Code V, and to analysis the system tolerance.
• Knowledge of optical test solutions, and has the ability to do experiments and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are desired.
• Must be self-motivated, and good team work spirit.
