Operations Director//采购公司总监-小家电
Responsibilities:
Office Setup
? Responsible for all necessary administrative, legal and financial tasks necessary to open a new entity and physical presence in China
? Business Administration
? Ensure that the entity is run in a manner that conforms to all established local and international regulations
? Coordinate with US team to formulate policies and strategic plans for current operations and for future growth as well as to ensure that entity’s operational priorities are aligned with parent company direction
? Manage daily operations of personnel, purchasing and administration
? Review financial information and adjust operational budgeting as necessary
? Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics and implement improved processes and management methods to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the entity’s operations
Human Resources
? Coordinate all employee efforts including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and managing employee and employee benefits as well as subcontractors and suppliers necessary for operations
? Maintain internal control systems to ensure absolute accountability of all employees in China
? Develop guidelines for personnel evaluations, staff advancement, and recruitment procedures
? Formulate training and incentive plans
Quality Control
? Oversee the creation of proper Quality Control protocols
? Manage Quality Control Engineers to ensure highest quality of products
? Ensure that Quality control and factory test procedures are in place at all factories
? Oversee evaluation of Vendors and Suppliers and implement Vendor evaluation program
Project Management
? Oversee the creation of proper Project Management protocols
? Oversee and manage Project Managers in China to support the US Team to ensure Product Development success and to manage timelines
Sourcing and Logistics
? Assist US team with sourcing vendors and suppliers
? Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency
? Manage logistics and outbound transportation processes, negotiate parcel freight programs
Other Duties
? Develop strong relationships with outside partners
? At a future date, spearhead company’s eventual Sales & Distribution into the Asia Pacific region
Requirements:
? Highly motivated and energetic operator who operates under a strong sense of urgency and gets things done
? Has a history of demonstrating initiative and ability to complete projects and document work within a timely fashion
? Detail oriented
? Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and to operate under pressure
? Experience operating an organization in China
? Intimate familiarity with Asia-Pacific markets
? Strong abilities and successful experience in leadership roles
? Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
? At least a working proficiency in Mandarin
? Well versed in local cultures and standards
? Upbeat, personable and professional character and demeanor
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
? Knowledge of Smart Sheet or Microsoft Project
? Ability to work with minimal supervision and to participate and contribute positively in work teams
? Experience within the kitchen small appliance or related industry
? Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin
? Excellent oral and written communication skills in Cantonese
? Experience and/or training in the engineering field
? Sales and marketing expertise
? Experience within a Sourcing or Trading Office
? Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
? Proficiency in applying statistical methods to process and product anomalies
