Job Description
岗位职责:
- Plans, directs and establishes operating activities for production, manufacturing/ procurement operations including production planning, scheduling, resource allocation (equipment and personnel) and materials management.
- Drives implementation of new processes/capabilities in support of strategic growth plans with the assistance of the Engineering Department. Drives efficient flow of material throughout the Manufacturing facility, with emphasis on cost improvement, cycle time and production time reduction. Prioritizes production schedules based on customer demand and strategic importance.
- Oversees and manages the manufacturing processes, in addition to managing the Purchasing, Raw Material (Quality Assurance) and Quality Control and Packaging functions.
- Directs all aspects for order configuration and makes every effort for efficient “right first time” production. Facilitates technical discussions to ensure timely execution including leading and/or facilitating new product introduction meetings and ensures all possible scenarios have been challenged and documented prior to order release.
- Establishes clear strategic direction for purchasing and planning by overseeing supplier sourcing and execution, make/buy analysis, PPV and Inventory Turns.
- Coordinates efforts with other department heads in areas of Engineering, Product Development and R&D, Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Human Resources.
- Directs and monitors Supervisors and Lead Hands to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures. Acts as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes and results.
- Hires, trains, develops, assigns accountability, builds teams and evaluates the Manufacturing team including taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
- Achieves optimum employee levels with least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plan.
- Ensures compliance with current local regulations.
- Identifies, recommends and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitors scrap and rework data. Directs the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
- Directs and coordinates various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.).
- Initiates and coordinates major projects (e.g., plant relocation/layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.).
- Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

任职要求:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical related field from an accredited University; or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of Management experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- High level of interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, build teams and work within/lead cross functional teams.
- Must be assertive and have strong organization skills.
- Must be a self-starter and take initiative.
- Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principals/methods and 5S deployment/ sustainability.
- Understanding of ISO 9000 principles.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Solid Works is a plus.
- Experience with ERP software systems and implementation, preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
