Position Title: Operation Manager

Manage and direct subordinates to accomplish the following:
- Develop department budgets and control expenses, variances, and scrap.
- Manage inventory to budgeted goals.
- Analysis inventory for excess and obsolete dispositions.
- Schedule customer shipments, raw materials, subcontractors, and finished goods to satisfy inventory goals and customer delivery requirements.
- Maintain production and capacity consistent with schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Establish efficient work methods, work place layouts, and material handling methods for effective use of resources and space.
- Coordination and implementation of engineering changes.
- Establish and document manufacturing processes and labor standards.
- Enforce quality metrics, goals and objectives for the manufacturing sites.
- Develop special tools, methods, fixtures, and machines to facilitate production to reduce labor and expense costs.
- Lead Engineering to Implement cost reduction plans to improve margins as per the budgeted goals.
- Provide customer service to designated customers.
- Manage employees to meet productivity and variance goals.
- Organize materials and production to ensure good material flow and housekeeping.
- Ensure quality of the product by training of employees and adherence to Quality Assurance Procedures.
- Implement cost and expense reductions.
- Develop department budgets and control expenses, variances and scrap budgets.
- Responsible for the storage of material to prevent loss, damage or possible deterioration.
- Ensure proper security and maintenance of the plant and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with standards and policies for pollution control.
- Understand and follow applicable Company practices, policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety of the workforce by completing safety reports and actions as required.
- Work safely.
- Bachelor's degree, Eng. at least 5 years directly related experience in the Electro-Mechanical or Electronic fields.
- Working Experience with ERP.
- Familiar with Local and Global Purchasing systems.
- Strong supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Extended periods at computer. Prolonged sitting. May require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling twisting, stretching, stooping and/or standing.
- Repetitive motions.
- Ability to apply mental processes, in order to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
- Ability to remain calm and in control, even when under pressure.
- Ability to manage stress. Ability to concentrate. Work is subject to frequent distractions. Ability to adapt to change.
- Visual acuity. Must be able to distinguish full range of colors.
- Moderate travel, domestic and international.
- Responsible for all Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials and Supply Chain, Purchasing / Sourcing, Facilities, Quality functions. Direct, monitor, plan and organize all phases of production operations for Manufacturing.
- Responsible for target levels of efficiency, productivity, quality, delivery and safety. Manage the scheduling and replenishing activities for customer requirements.
- Responsible for attaining target levels of delivery, inventory, and cost reduction.
