CPO & Partners is searching for one of his affiliate companies C.A.M.P. Spa (Italian Company) an Operation Assistant in charge of the China Mainland Area. C.A.M.P. Spa is one of the leaders in their sector, operating in the safety equipment related to mountaneering, outdoor sport and rescue/safety equipment.

The candidate, preferably based in Shenzhen, will enjoy freedom and can remain based in the Shenzhen Area, will also need to travel frequently in China to develop the suppliers' network and increase business opportunities

The operation assistant visits on behalf of C.A.M.P. the Chinese suppliers’ premises to closely work in the areas of quality control, quality assurance and products industrialization. Other tasks are related to researching activities in terms of new suppliers, materials and applicable technologies as well as assistance activities related to the company sales in China.

The main tasks can be summarized as :

. Performing periodic Quality Control activities on finished products, based on existing CQ check list.

. Performing periodic visit at raw material and components suppliers.

. Reporting activities to C.A.M.P.

. Facilitate the daily communication with suppliers, including purchasing order status and deliveries.

. Being the link between CAMP R&D and existing Chinese suppliers for new products development: sampling, checking and communications.

. Searching for new suppliers and/or materials according new developments/technologies need, including the visit to specialized fairs in China.

. Searching for direct suppliers for specific product families.

. Being the contact with China-based international laboratories in the field of products and material testing.

. Translation activities from English to Chinese of key-documents: technical specifications, working instructions, production processes, quality manuals, quality procedures.

. Checking of the Chinese translation of technical and/or legal documentation related (e.g. catalogues, users’ manuals, sales and/or purchasing contracts).

. Assistance in the field of Chinese GB standard and product certification

. Market related activities: visiting customers, translation and assistance during sales meeting.

. Market surveillance activities in China (e.g. CAMP counterfeit products).

. Logistic assistance to the C.A.M.P. representatives during their trips in China.

. Education level: Technical high school diploma, good technical knowledge, preferable with engineering degree.

. Experience: Possible knowledge and background in similar working fields.

. Specific skills: Communication, organization, teamwork, planning, reporting, time management.

. Personal characteristics: Age between 25 and 35, Chinese native and speaking, English speaking.
