SUMMARY:
1. Provide and document patient care services at multidisciplinary clinic, infusion center and radiation oncology clinic.
2. Provide patient centric care and education on disease prevention, symptom management and treatment intervention.
3. Capable of taking leadership and decision-making roles in the absence of the nurse manager.
4. Contribute to overall patient satisfaction by improving clinic flow, decreasing waiting time, responding promptly to patient needs, and ensuring patient care quality and safety.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:
1. Collaborate with physicians and other health care providers to deliver patient centric services in cancer center.
2. Manage clinic flow efficiently to meet patient and physician’s expectations.
3. Provide assessment and evaluation of patients and communicate to physician immediately with alarming findings and concerns.
4. Provide individualized care based patient assessment and understanding of patient/family needs.
5. Provide effective intervention and treatment in a safe environment.
6. Accurately and promptly document care delivered to patients and its outcome.
7. Prepare patient and assist physician for clinical procedures.
8. Follow institution and department policies and procedures and deliver infusion and radiation related treatment safely.
9. Triage patient calls and electronic communications and follow through in a timely fashion.
10. Coordinate and schedule patient care. Follow up with patients as needed to ensure continuity of care and treatment compliance.
11. Provide patient education on disease prevention symptom management and treatment intervention.
12. Competent to operate/use patient care equipment and supplies.
13. Serve as a mentor or coach for junior staff. Provide guidance and orientation to staff new to the unit.
14. Perform other assignments and duties as needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor or Master Degree in nursing with valid nursing license in China.
2. As preferred, a minimal of 8 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years of oncology experience.
3. Skilled in Physical assessment, Patient triage, Phlebotomy, IV, Central line care and management, and Chemotherapy and Biologic therapy, etc.
4. International working experience preferred but not necessary.
5. Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) preferred.
