You’ll handle issues on operation management, strategic partnership, employee relations and emergency responding.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Our Human Capital professionals drive the firm’s people strategy, create a unique people experience, and work with the business to drive success in the marketplace. Human Resources support our people in reaching their full market value which then sets PwC apart as the distinctive Firm.
The Consulitng Line of Service (LoS) HR is an HRBP team delivers superior human capital services in support of our internal clients’ business objectives and consistently with our Firm policies and values across Mainland China and Hong Kong. The Consulting HR Officer is based in Beijing, and provides support to both daily operations in the North market and initiatives across China/Hong Kong in order to support the business and helps the firm to deliver on its strategy.
The Consulting HR Officer will:
- Work with the HR Leadership and other HR teams, Consultig North Business Unit Leaders and managers to implement the Consulting people strategy and priorities;
- Be a business advisor on people-related issues to all Consulting buesines units;
- Provide effective people management guidance, coaching and tools to assist Consulting competency teams in sustaining people development and employee relationship;
- Work closely with campus recruitment team for graduatesand internship recruitment for Consulting;
- Support the implementation of annual performance management and salary review;
- Support the talent management and development programs across Consulting;
- Support various HR projects and transformation initiatives led by HR leadership;
- Participate in people initiatives and practices such as people engagement survey and compliance requirements;
- Conduct exit interviews for leavers and bring the insights to enhance the people strategy;
- Prepare staff movement update to HR supporting teams and assist in staff offboarding arrangement;
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to Consulting competency team leaders and managers.
Reporting structure & key relationships
Report to Manager – based in Beijing
Key relationship: Consulting Leadership and team leads, Human Resources Leadership, Human Resources Teams, and other supporting functions across China/Hong Kong
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist, preferably in a multinational corporation or professional services firm;
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with clients and other HR professionals from different background and grades;
- Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines while maintaining quality of work delivered;
- Ability to solve problem independently and consult with teams and leaders on more difficult issues;
- Open to learn and is comfortable to work in a changing environment;
- High proficiency in verbal and written English and Mandarin;
- Proficient in MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
