The Nordic-Baltic (NOBA) Marketing Company employs around 450 people across 7 countries and has offices located in Södertälje, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius. About chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is the most common leukemia in adults. It's a type of cancer that starts in cells that become certain white blood cells (called lymphocytes) in the bone marrow. The cancer cells start in the bone marrow but then go into the blood. Because CLL often grows slowly, not everyone needs to be treated right away. The treatment landscape for CLL is rapidly evolving, with multiple agents expecting approval. B-cell receptor signaling inhibitors are becoming one of the essential growth pathways for CLL.

The Role

As Nordic Brand Manager in Hematology you will contribute to AstraZeneca’s Oncology & Hematology business, one of AstraZeneca’s key growth platforms. In Business Unit Oncology & Hematology we are committed to put patients first, deliver innovative health solutions and ensure a high medical value for Nordic patients.

In this role, you will be part of the Hematology marketing team, primarily responsible for the launch of CALQUENCE (acalabrutinib) a new B-cell receptor inhibitor expecting approval for the treatment of CLL and other blood cancers.

Key Accountabilities

In this role as Brand Manager you will lead and support the Brand planning process in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues & teams. Understanding the market access situation is needed as this will be a key driver for launching CALQUENCE. You will develop a multichannel approach to ensure effective implementation of strategies. You will also develop Nordic marketing material based on Global campaigns and specific Nordic brand strategies in cooperation with external agencies to deliver relevant communication tools.

As Brand Manager your role consist of driving patient support projects and initiatives, based on strategies for the brands. Together with local implementation teams you will generate market insight. In cooperation with sales- and marketing teams you will deliver brand and campaign trainings. You will drive and execute local brand activities together with local implementation teams.

In order to succeed in this role you have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, e.g. in Marketing/Finance/Science or Pharmacy
  • Several years of pharma marketing and/or sales experience, preferably from the Oncology area. IO- a/o Lung cancer or Head & Neck cancer experience is meriting
  • Responsible for new molecules/indications
  • Proven strong sense for planning and execution

You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in both written and spoken English. Your former experience from multicultural business environment will be important for the role as will your insight of market access work. You have a proven track record of project leading and innovative channel capabilities. Your good knowledge in Nordic market ethical rules & health care systems is essential for the role.
