Position Description

The incumbent will be responsible for using open source software to build websites, such as WordPress, etc. S/He will be also be responsible for filming and video processing, especially developing original content and suggesting creative ways to attract public and promote the school brand.

Duties and Responsibilities

・ Use open source software to build website with the support of IT department;

・ Film and take photos of events at GTIIT;

・ Process videos and edit images to achieve desired publicity outcome of certain events;

・ Organize and archive photos and videos;

・ Help with office translation and complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Position Requirements

・ Education: Master’s degree from an internationally recognized university or above, preferably in relevant fields. Candidates with scientific backgrounds are preferred.

・ Work experience: minimum 1 year or above in similar capacity, preferably in filming.

Required Job Competencies

・ Required proficiency in operating cameras and other relevant instruments;

・ Required proficiency in processing soft wares, e.g. WordPress, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.;

・ Good photography skills and aesthetic judgment;

・ Good writing and verbal skills: both in Chinese and English;

・ Team spirits, able to cooperate with others;

・ Creative thinking: high;

・ Resistance to pressure.
