Oracle Hospitality – Hotel New Business Sales Executive

Oracle Hospitality, the global market leader in hospitality technology, is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive who will be will be responsible for generating extensive new business by selling Oracle Solutions and Services into one major account in the Hotel Sector.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, persuasive, self-motivated, driven to succeed and achieve targets, with a history of successful closing, has a good understanding of hotel sector and Cloud technology and can work within corporate parameters.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities to include:

  • Manage, develop and maintain sales plans and processes within designated area of responsibility, generating new business and growing an extensive, qualified pipeline
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by contacting and sourcing potential clients through cold calls, emails and qualified leads
  • Drive and organise meetings with prospective clients
  • Present a high-level introduction of Oracle Hospitality and our products to potential clients/prospects
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets consistently
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on sales forecasts
  • Keep up to date on all of Oracle Hospitality's products and services

Skills:

  • Highly motivated, structured and organized
  • Demonstrated experience and confidence in negotiating and closing sales
  • Ability to present and demonstrate competently at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and process driven environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • SaaS or Software Sales experience, ideally in the hospitality sector.
  • Knowledge of Hospitality/Hotel business processes is advantageous
  • A desire to forge a career in Hospitality Tech Sales
  • Ability to take feedback, learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Outgoing, social, ready to communicate with employees, customers and partners across different countries and different organisational levels
  • A genuine interest in new technologies that bring innovation

 

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 3 or more years of sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with Bachelor degree or equivalent.
