• Teaching English speaking and listening according to set teaching plan.
• Assigning appropriate homework and correcting homework on time. Supervising students and monitoring their learning progress.
• Offering guidance in student activities.
• Organizing the examination and offering the related assessment results.

School

• Target Students: college students (aged 17-22)
• College first and second year students
• Class size: 50 students in every class
• Teaching load: 18 periods per week (40 minutes per period)*
• Working hours: The regular teaching takes about 12 hours every week*

Employment Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (preference for English or Education majors)
• Teaching experience more than one year or teaching certificate such as TESOL, TEFL
• Resume (with DOB, phone number, passport number, email address, mail address; education and experiences should be presented with duration detailed to month)
• Two letters of recommendation from your teachers or other professionals addressing your strengths to teach English to students in a foreign environment;
• Passport
• copy of passport photo and recent profile photo
• Health record and copy of diploma
• Authentification of the diploma by China’s Embassy in the USA
• Authentification of the non-crime certificate by China’s Embassy in the USA
• Authentification of the TESOL or TEFL by China’s Embassy in the USA
• Certificates of working experience (if any).

-Payment and Welfare:

• Payment is based on teaching load of actual teaching load and experience. An increase in payment will be considered with increased experience in education. (Please send detailed resume to recruiter for payment estimates)
• An annual international round-trip airfare reimbursement (economic class).
• RMB 1,100 yuan travel allowance on the last pay time of each semester, e.g. RMB 2,200 yuan each year.
• Free accommodation on or near campus. Foreign teachers are provided free of charge an apartment equipped with basic furniture, computer, printer, TV set, fridge, washing machine, air conditioners in living room and two bedrooms, and necessary cooking utensils in the kitchen.
• At least 3 weeks’ paid vacation in an academic year. Teachers will have paid holidays based on Chinese calendar of recognized national and local holidays, such as Labor’s Day, Chinese National Day, Spring Festival, Mid-autumn Festival as prescribed by the Chinese government and religious holidays (two days for Christmas and one day for Thanksgiving).
