Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate new national contracts with Metro CTG customers on Chain business setting within the Metro defined strategy, and re-negotiate existing national contracts on an annual basis.

  • Instruct, Tutor, Mentor and coach the team of Store Field Operation(when necessary)

  • Support, evaluate and control the way of working of Store Field Operation

  • Maintain In-depth knowledge of market (customer, competition, etc.) and Metro solutions

  • Develop Key Account action plan for the country (monthly)

  • Conduct business reviews with Regional Field Operation Manager, Regional Store Managers and relevant managers (monthly) to take/ adjust actions.

  • Monitors and facilitates Store Field Operation on specific price settings, way of working on regular order management and new product introduction.

  • Support stores in defining actions with regards to the strategy execution (quarterly)

  • Contribute to the Key Account yearly strategy definition and prepare your Key Account budget for the country (yearly)

  • Approve customer allocation per stores/region based on commercial approach Key Account Portfolio (yearly)

  • Check the quality of the customer potential calculation and targets made by Regional Field Operation Managers (or all Key account team) (yearly)

  • Check the proper usage of tools and systems provided by the company

  • Look for staff productivity improvement

  • Review for weekly, monthly and yearly action plan based on Key account strategy which is in line with country strategy.

  • Actively develop Key Account business through participation in associations, events, sponsor, and other branch related activities

Expected Results:


  • Significant improvement of Share of Wallet and satisfaction of all Key Account Customers.

  • Sales and profit target achievement

  • Strategic planning (including Key Account customer selection, target setting) based on accessible potential and defined country strategy.

  • Constant update of market and customer knowledge

  • Input in company strategy planning

  • Ensure sales optimization by monitoring placement, manager profitable growth at Key Account level through strict control on credit and account receivables within the contractual.

  • Constant customer and market information sharing to head office and the team (All Key Account)

  • Improve the Key Account customer satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Sales and negotiation skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Time and Project Management

  • Minimum of 3-4 years relevant working experience

  • Proven sales track record within the relevant industry

  • Fluent in English
