Responsibilities:

1. Define, develop and implement both hardware and software automatd test systems including test standards, concepts, strategies for optical component products during all stages of production, e.g,

• Generate and document the test concpets for Optical components
• Document the production test requirement
• Design and document the test hardware and software required to meet all the test specifications

2. Develop common automation platforms in collaboration with other ADVA test teams

3. Work with the manufacturer to resolve any functional test issues that may arise.

4. Suggest process or test implementation improvements that will result in higher quality of test solutions.

5. Acquire the required knowledge to be consulted in any technical area in order to resolve any problem with the test systems

6. Provide mentoring to the teams to help others understand the architecture, design, processes and tools.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor's in Optical/Electronics/Telecommunication or similar major or above

2. Fluent in written and spoken English skills

3. Deep knowledge of Optical Components with experience in hardware and software testing.

4. Good knowledge in C#, C++, National Instruments tools: LabView/TestStand is highly preferred

5. Project management, database programming and design experience preferred

6. Willing to travel and work in global teams.

7. At lease 3 years working experience in optical industry.
