The NPI Supply Lead leads and executes cross functional project teams to support New Product Introduction, site to market launches, and other critical site projects. This position leads and manages projects that support West Chester supply chain and is responsible for all phases of a project including business justification, project initiation, planning, execution and closure.

What you’ll do:

  • Create, track and manage integrated Product Launch plans from site to Market.
  • Lead, direct and manage supply chain projects in support of business and West Chester strategies, including new product introductions, brand life cycle initiatives, and major supply chain compliance and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage project resources and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets and schedules.
  • Manage changes to project scope.
  • Identify and control project risks using the integrated risk management framework.
  • Create and execute project stakeholder management and communications plans.
  • Manage issues and negotiate conflicts within and across projects.
  • Manage strategic partner relationships with internal and external customers as appropriate.
  • Lead the development of business cases for potential Operations projects.
  • Interface to and align with Global Operations on strategy development and project execution as required.

Essential for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, supply chain, engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience and demonstrated knowledge in various aspects of Pharmaceutical Operations, including Manufacturing and Packaging operations and / or other supply chain management processes.
  • 4 years of project management leadership or strategic planning development and assessment experience.
  • Proven expertise in successfully delivering business-critical projects involving cross-functional participants, stakeholders and organizations.
  • Ability to manage and develop cross-functional teams, plan and execute multiple project tasks, and multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated sound judgement, good business insight and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.

Desirable for the role:

  • Direct experience in sterile manufacturing operations.
  • Product life cycle management experience.
  • Experience with commercialization and launch of new products.
  • Demonstrated understanding of external customer base and supply chain.
  • Proficient in MS suite of software tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).
