Responsibility：

• NPI EE Components Cost control: Manage RFI/RFQ, Drive cost savings, Ensure component level product cost is achieving commercial & business case expectations.
• NPI Project Control: Identify component risks and/or concerns, monitor issues & give early warning of any major hazards to projects, identify long lead LT, capacity, and capability, communicate to design centers directly, confirm selected parts are acceptable for IoT applications & are suitable for manufacturing processes.
• NPI project support in Material preparation; Monitor drawing, BOM, and change releases from engineering to ensure timely transition and planning.
• NPI innovation support: Provide technology roadmaps to RD, influence engineering component selections to meet purchasing strategy, confirm life cycle, review with engineering design phases & component change requirements for effective components sourcing.
• Components Supplier reviews and visit.
• Present analysis reports when requested.

Requirements:

15 years in Components buyer role, preferably from an IoT/Cellular Module/M2M industry.

Has experience/knowledge of EE components in terms of NPI, quality, process. Technical experience/knowledge is a plus.

Has experience/knowledge of different purchasing strategies.

Has experience/knowledge of commercial and contract negotiation.

Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

Excellent English communication skills.

Ability to work independently
