Main Responsibilities:


  • All sourcing operation work within team.
  • Develop, secure and maintain a competent sourcing and administrative organisation.
  • Plan, Develop, Implement strategic work processes to be effective and efficient
  • Find right suppliers and products to competitive prices of good quality on the Asian production market
  • Continuous improvements in the processes “Source product” and “Negotiate with supplier”
  • Operate purchasing negotiation on the Asian markets
  • Weekly, monthly reporting to Hard lines/ Soft lines Manager and/or HKG head office
  • Secure that suppliers (incl. all external brand suppliers) carry out as per agreements & orders
  • Price quotation, Calculation of Landed cost
  • Manage and Organise samples storage
  • Make production plan
  • Motivate and educate team and be a good role model
  • Work actively with talent identification, development and retention
  • Develop skills of the sourcing organisation


Requirement:
  • University Degree in Sourcing/ Procurement and/or Business administration or equivalent knowledge based on experience


  • Possess minimum 8 years solid experience in Merchandising with related categories, of which 3 years at same level, in international buying organisations


  • Excellent Management skills, Communication and Negotiation skills


  • Excellent interpersonal skill as well as capability to interact effectively with all levels

  • Posses good time management and organisational skills


  • Excellent written and clear fluent spoken English and local language(s)
