Responsibilities:

• Identify suppliers, validate and qualify to meet company requirements.

• Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers for opportunities and issues;

• Evaluate & recommend suitable suppliers with competitive cost, quality and delivery terms. Travel to suppliers for seasonal sourcing, program management, preproduction review.

• Undertakes activities to ensure that Home Decor product are up to standard and ready for production, production requirements are communicated clearly to parties concerned and production processes are managed properly so that the shipment is delivered on time.

• Monitors order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and delivery requirements. Works closely with suppliers/factories and THT across-team functions (quality, logistic etc.) during production process to resolve issues.

• Execute and manage pre-production/WIP(Work in Process) planning with contracted factories/suppliers.

• Be an expert user of PLM and provide necessary guidance/training to team members when required.

• Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the Company/Supervisor.

  
  

Requirements:

• At least College graduate and major in International Trade, Business Management, or equivalent.

• At least 5 years’ of working experience in reputable global retail chain stores, sourcing/trading company, or buying offices.

• Strong production and order follow up experiences is must. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good sense of responsibility. Ability to handle stress and work under pressure, manage and develop business exceeding target.

• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills. Multi-tasking. Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Positive working attitude, proactive & energetic. A quick learner and a team player.

• Good English written and verbal communication skills to facilitate interaction with overseas counterparts and merchandising teams, as well as suppliers and service providers.

• Good command of Computer Knowledge (eg Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

• Considering this position needs business travel to the nearby countries occasionally such as India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh etc., man is preferred.
