Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist manager to provide and coordinate a various service of Medical Record Office, including charts delivery, scan and upload, information release, merging, medical record quality checks, government inspection preparation and support, coding etc.


ESSENTIAL TASKS:

1. Charts collection/delivery to meet clinics’ needs.

2. Medical information scan and upload.

3. Information release.

4. Email checking and recording, clinics and patients coordination.

5. Duplicated medical record merging.

6. Medical record quality checks, including outpatients and inpatients.

7. Government inspection preparation and support.

8. ICD and CPT coding support and quality checks.

9. Participation in department activities.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Able to complete other tasks assigned by department manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

1. Native Chinese speaker (mainland China) with good English skills.

2. Good knowledge of medicine, medical terminology, and medical concepts

3. Ability to work as a team player.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of service needs.

5. Well-organized and self-directed.

1. Decision-making.

2. Critical thinking and essential analytical skills.

3. Self-driven learning.

EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE:

1. Proficient in Windows and MS Office.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

1. College degree or above.

2. Preferably medical-related education or nursing background.

3. Oversea healthcare experience preferred.

4. Medical record quality control related experience preferred.
