Job Description
Job Purpose Statement
To assist physicians’ clinic practice by interpretation, translation of medical documents. Works in close collaboration with all member of the multi-disciplinary team, to provide optimal service, to meet patient/doctor needs and expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- To assist Chinese physicians to see expats patients by interpretation,
- To assist English-speaking physicians to see Chinese patients by interpretation,
- To assist translation of medical documents into English or Chinese,
- To assist physicians to contact patients by calling or email,
- To be familiar with nursing care
- Co-ordinates patient-related activities conducts patient teaching.
- Maintaining contact with patients during the consultation. Working with Doctors to initiate and follow up patient progress.
- Works closely with Frontline team to ensure a smooth patient flow and looks at ways to reduce waiting times and increase work efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Education and/or professional qualifications (minimum requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing,
- Holding a license to demonstrate English ability preferred,
- At least three-year experience as a nurse, worked at an international medical care preferred,
- Fluent oral and written English,
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Knowledge, Skills or Abilities (demonstrate skill in Administration, Management and Team working)
- Computer literature
- Strong English - reading/writing (other languages are a bonus).
- Effective communication Skill & Teamwork Spirit & Can-do Attitude.
- Medical knowledge (strongly preferred)

- Confidentiality regarding patient information
- Confidentiality regarding World Link information
