YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Medical Affairs Co-op, are to: 

• Direct responsibility for delivering strategically important medical initiative in either Nutritional or Digestive Health category which includes literature searches and analyses and for scientific reporting of relevant data;
• Support key business initiatives for project including legal, medical and regulatory concept evaluations and/or advertising reviews of relevant materials;
• Oral presentation and written communication/publication of results and overall learnings to the medical, commercial and regulatory team;
• Assist to the US medical team to enhance and improve relevant database for project efficiency;
• Attend to all project related team meetings including innovation sessions, weekly commercial updates and medical team meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Post graduate student in biological sciences, nutrition or related field;
• Currently attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham; 
• Be willing to commit to the consecutive six months of the Co-Op; 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday;
• Be proficient in Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
