Do you want to bring the next advanced biopharmaceutical to life within Oncology/Hematology? Do you understand the complexity around new modalities in cancers and how to communicate value of novel therapeutics? Then you may be the next Medical Advisor for our Oncology/Hematology portfolio in Denmark.


In this role you will be part of a team, and together be responsible for the medical insights into data and science within Oncology/Hematology in the Danish market. You will bring forward our science and act as the face of Amgen, by discussing the data with doctors and other collaborators. Furthermore, you will be exploring potential collaborations to generate data and further scientific or clinical knowledge within our inline & pipeline of Oncology/Hematology portfolio. You will also be part of delivering medical education within the therapy area both externally and internally and bring field observations to the internal teams. 

We are looking for a profile that can successfully communicate and discuss complex cutting-edge scientific information to healthcare decision makers. You should have a strong interest in working with external stakeholders and have a strong track record in building impactful relationships within the Danish healthcare environment as well as within internal teams. You are motivated by engaging stakeholders and offering solutions to complex tasks. Being entrepreneurial may help you propel forward in an ever-challenging area of work.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for providing the medical expertise and training/education to internal and external stakeholders within your portfolio
  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders to educate and communicate clinical and scientific data to advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s corporate goals and objectives​ 
  • Engage with and manage key external relationships within Oncology/Hematology to educate and communicate clinical value and scientific data​ 
  • Educate in and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to key stakeholders ​ 
  • Support speaker training and ensure speakers are updated on new data 
  • Support the digital journey in Amgen Denmark. Together with medical and commercial colleagues responsible for the digital training platform incl. continuous adjustment and development​ 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Scientific degree, (MSc, PharmD, MD or similar)  
  • Understanding of oncology/hematology from relevant field of work (clinical practice, research, other experience)
  • Understanding of biopharmaceutical drug development and clinical research 
  • Some years of industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company is preferred but not a requirement 
  • Strong oral and written communications skills Danish and English

  • Able to create an overview and see tasks from multiple angles.

The position is with a high external focus, with possibility to use our affiliate office in Ballerup but also flexibility to work from home. Business travel within Denmark is part of the job. The Medical Advisor reports to the Country Medical Lead, Amgen Denmark.
