We are looking for a Medical Advisor who will work with our portfolio in Immunology. The candidate will represent the affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) within the Immunology therapeutic area. This position is located in Denmark, office location Copenhagen. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums and symposia Deliver scientific presentations and medical education to health professionals Review and approval of advertising material. Ensure that medical/scientific content is correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines Provide medical/scientific input to medical affairs strategies, marketing strategy and commercial initiatives Assist in initiating, supervising and following up of clinical trials and medical projects Design and implement clinical research projects, e.g. Phase IV, observational, registry and epidemiological studies Qualifications Cand. Med., Cand. Pharm., M.Sc., Cand. Scient or equivalent Experience in Immunology is not required but will be considered as an advantage Clinical experience and solid research experience (PhD) is not required but will be considered as an advantage Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for assigned therapeutic area/product and in medical research in general Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills Fluency in written and oral Danish and English is required in order to facilitate communications between the affiliate medical department, Regional and International Medical Affairs and other AbbVie functional staff High customer orientation Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare community at large Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity Travel Yes, 50 % of the Time Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code IC Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
