Job Description：

In the sales phase the sales engineer decides for a final system concept. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for developing sales CAD-drawings based on tender specifications and on the input of the sales engineer. He transforms the system concept into a system layout drawing.In the project execution phase the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for developing the final system CAD-drawings under supervision of the project lead engineer.The Mechanical Engineer also will support the sales engineer in preparing technical quotations and bidding documents. He can do technical discussions with subcontractors and clients for layout-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the sales layout
• Prepare the engineering layout
• Discuss technical specifications with sales and project lead engineer
• Make technical specifications for VI equipment
• Make technical specifications for resale items
• Assist in the design and engineering of systems
• Technical discussions with customers
• Technical discussions with subcontractors

Requirements / Qualifications:

• AUTOCAD 2D & 3D experience
• NAVIS WORKS for 3D modelling and layout animation
• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Good communication
• Ability to compose layouts of simple systems independently and to compose layouts of more complicated systems in close co-operation with the sales engineer.
• Ability to compare customer requirements from tender documents with VI specifications according to Product Data Book and Zone book, assist sales engineer to prepare the proper bidding documentation based on his comparison.
• For technical discussions for sales and engineering layouts the engineer will work together and have frequent contact with colleagues from our Dutch office, whenever necessary.

Career Development

After gaining sufficient experience and his capabilities have been proved, the engineer will have the opportunity to progress into the position of project mechanical engineer. This will be decided after evaluation and discussion with the engineering manager.
