As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be a member of mechanical team, be responsible for the thermal design, and test in China. You will be reporting to R&D Team Manager in Business Area – Electrification, Smart Power located in Shenzhen, China.
Your responsibilities
- Working under the guidance of Mechanical Manager to finish the thermal design and test of EVCI.
- Working with global and local EVCI team to finish the design, localization and manufacturing of EVCI.
- Creating thermal model to simulate different cases, preparing report to show thermal risk.
- Supporting and run thermal test, analysis test result to find risk, and solving it.
- Documenting and archiving all mechanical and thermal deliverables in each gate and maintaining these files.
- Ensuring adherence to ABB integrity and safety rules and regulations.
Your background
- Bachelor’s or above degree in mechanical or thermal engineering.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in power product, international company with China design presence background is preferred.
- Good experience of fan, heatsink, heatpipe, liquid cooling pad, phase change, heat exchanger, etc and be skillful on Creo, AutoCad.
- Good experience of Flotherm or Icepak etc, Flotherm is preferred.
- Must have good experience of thermal test and verification, thermal component’s qualification and of thermal material’s property test.
- Must be result-oriented with good ability to collaborate with others and be able to work independently and under pressure.
- Must have good English and Chinese communication skill and Computer skills (MS-Office, Outlook).
