Reports To: BSL Sheet-Fed R&D Supervisor or Mechanical Team Leader

Position Summary

• Develop and find mechanical solutions for new machines
• Maintain and improve existing machines
• Support to other departments (when enough experience)

Main Responsibilities

Develop and find mechanical solutions for new machines.

• General Concept Design in 3D
• Calculate each element that need to be checked
• Finalize the design element and sub-module in both CAD and ERP system
• Create parts drawing and BOM
• Create assembly documents (ETU)

Maintenance and specialty:

• Find solutions to improve or fix issue on our existing machines
• Design specific solution for some customer who want a customization of their machine
• Redesign some functions in order to improve cost and/or performance
• From time to time replace obsolete standards

Support to other department (when enough experience):

• Treat Non Conformity Report
• Support to production when they met technical problems which cannot solve by themselves
• Support to engineering and purchasing of industrialization task
• Support to other department when it’s necessary

Critical Skills and Personal Attributes

Functional skills:

• Good knowledge about mechanical design and best practice in Western company
• An affinity with the "world of industrial machines"
• Knowledge of software like Catia V5 (or Solidworks) and SAP
• Fluency in Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word)

. DFSS certification （GB/BB）

Personal skills:

• Good communication skills, extrovert and independent
• Proactive work style, reliable and accountable
• Team builder and player, acting with transparency and openness
• Capacity to adapt to a difference cultural environment (behavior, language, non-verbal

communication)

• Ability to follow multi-tasks in parallel

Education and Experience:

• Over 3 years' previous experience into mechanical engineering
• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Able to read and write in English
• Able to understand and speak simple English to receive training by foreigner
• "European mind"
• Speak English well enough to be able to receive training and ask questions.
• Between 28 to 40 years old
