A great position is now available in the Marketing Team in Hong Kong. We are recruiting for a Marketing Supervisor who will have ownership over our marketing efforts in Hong Kong and Macau for the H&M brand!

As the Marketing Supervisor for Hong Kong and Macau you will focus on 3 or 4 H&M concepts/customer groups and you will drive our marketing efforts, having ownership for their effectiveness in driving brand awareness and topline sales in our stores. It’s a campaign-based role in which you will treat each campaign (advertising, promotions, social, etc.) as a separate project and drive it to completion and success! Some of the campaign work will be an adaptation of materials and concepts coming from our head office in Stockholm and some of it will be locally ideated, planned and implemented.

In this position, you will be in a team with 2 other people; a fellow Marketing Supervisor working on the other H&M concepts and your manager, the H&M Marketing Manager for Hong Kong and Macau. Besides your team, you will have a lot of other key stakeholders in the commercial team – Merchandisers, Visual Merchandisers, Store Operations team, and other external agencies and/or parties. A lot of people to deal with!

Believe it or not, the person we are looking for needs to have strong analytical skills. As the Marketing Supervisor, you would need to analyze a lot of data coming from multiple sources, understand the connection points and draw insights that would help you being effective in your campaigns. Creativity and innovative campaign ideas are an important part of the role but they always need to be grounded in data and insights. Of course, if you want to be able to interpret the data and derive actions from it you must have a marketing / digital background within a consumer retail company. A passion for fashion is another key element; it doesn’t matter if you haven’t worked in a fashion company before but you need to love fashion and have some understanding of it. Finally, you speak both Cantonese and English fluently.
