Job Purpose:
This role pertains to the China Marketing team.
1.Develop timely, relevant and differentiated offers to drive client and consumer perceived value.
2.Develop marketing concepts and projects for Corporate Segment, delivering profitable solutions to drive sales, attract and maintain clients.
3.Drive the development, measurement and continuous improvement of one or multiple offer modules delivering financial performance and differentiating Sodexo from its competitors for catering, wellness, retail or FM services in line with Sodexo Group Offer Development strategy and process.
Accountabilities:
1. Develop marketing concepts and projects
- Create comprehensive service solutions, with the goal of de–commoditizing the contracted catering and
FM industry, creating differentiation and delivering added value, in order to consolidate Sodexo as a
leader in China.
- Consolidated with China Insight expert’s support the consumer research and insight discipline utilizing
the Sodexo Group tools and expertise (consumer trends, Personix, consumer surveys, focus groups,
mystery shopper).
- The solutions should be designed through an understanding of client and consumer needs and expectations
and should aim at enhancing their consumer experience and satisfaction levels.
- Create and promote an innovative approach to business’s technology: B2C, B2B & Sodexo Staff.
- Build relationships and work with clients to add value to their business and retain existing accounts
2. Offer portfolio articulation proposition
- Understand market trends, characteristics and needs
- Understand business needs of the organization
- Review current portfolio status and investigate group existing offers
- Propose offer development brief, portfolio vision and offer development action plan
3. Support to China team
- With support from the Operations teams aim to deliver a unique value proposition focused on Quality of
Life.
- Work jointly with the Business Development, Operations and Service Operations teams to craft solutions for new business as well as existing business that need a fresh impetus.
- Track offers compliance and performance
4. Support to Regional team
- Help adapt global offers for the country to meet the client and consumer requirements.
- Work with the Regional Marketing team for guidance on research and alignment with segment strategy.
Skills, Knowledge and experience
Essential
1. Should have a passion for food and food concepts
2. Brand offer development experience such as in solution development, service development or product development in industry like FMCG, retail, IT and Catering (or others). Facility management
experience is a plus.
3. Min of 3 years relevant working experience in FMCG Company, preferably with F&B experience,
innovation experience (food business, managing marketing or operations)
4. Hands on pro-active approach with an ability to work well in autonomy
5. Ability to interface with the client at all levels of seniority
Desirable
1. Bachelor degree is must, MBA is preferred - BS degree in Marketing preferred
2. Experience with digital marketing tools
3. Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way
4. Have a creative mind and be able to think of different innovative concepts
5. Presentation skills, ability to interact at any level of the organization
6. Should have a good commercial sense and be able to understand the impact of marketing on
business numbers
Others:
1. Travel up to 15% of work time under normal conditions
2. Fluent English and Chinese (written and spoken)
