Job Description

Responsibilities include

Media Relationship


  • Produce various kinds of PR related writing, includes brand or product release and activities release, in-depth articles regarding to travel/cruise industry and so on.

  • Deliver all the news release with maximum media coverage.

  • Develop in-depth PR cooperation with influential media in travel/cruise industry.

  • Media relationship management including media enquiries and interview

  • Develop brand’s influence and leadership among travel/cruise related industry, media and associates.

  • Seek authoritative awards opportunities for the brand in travel/cruise related industry.

  • Guide external and internal communications

PR Campaign

  • Develop strategic PR plans for China market which are aligned with the China marketing goals and business strategies. Develop and organize PR campaign to drive brand awareness and positioning strategies and initiatives across all target regions.
  • Collaboration with strong third parties for joint event, brand crossover to enlarge the reputation of brand and awareness.
  • Create more topic of the town with hot TV show, famous celebrities to promote DC & SC with comprehensive influence to drive brand awareness and business from mass market.
  • Build good relationship with GZTB and Nansha TB and other government Depts.

Familiarization (FAM) Tour

  • Regular Media Fam to strengthen DC brand and product awareness
  • Collaborate with public relations team from headquarter in the creation and execution of the FAM tours, including theme FAM tour and regular FAM tour.
  • Lead the FAM tour in South China market and give support to regional office’s FAM tour.
  • Tracking and reporting media coverage of the FAM tours that can demonstrate the positive impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Excellent writing skills in both Chinese & English as well as good sense of news sensitivity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Arts, Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or a related discipline required.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with PR, Media relationship and large event or campaign organization and implementation ability.
  • At least 2~6 years of hands-on related experience with in similar role in a cruise, hospitality, PR agency or 4A company, entertainment or leisure industry
  • Team player with a collaborative working style
  • Experience gained in the travel, lifestyle or consumer products industry, especially with luxury/premium brands, is an advantage
  • Language requirements: Cantonese, Mandarin, English
  • Computer Skills: Good PC skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
