HKDEA is launching 2^nd Hong Kong Game Enhancement and Promotion Scheme from April 2020 to March 2021 (12 months period) with below deliverables:

(1) Promotion and industry briefing to announce the program to game developer community

(2) Funding scheme guideline and agreement

(3) Vetting committee to select up to 12 game start-ups to join the scheme

(4) Selected companies will receive game testing and monetization skills training and student interns to do related game testing to enhance quality and game profitability before launching the new game to market

(5) A launch event to announce the selected companies and new games to the industry with press invitation

(6) Well-structured business training program to selected game companies in area of pitching skills, social media marketing skills, game marketing & pricing skills and game business operation skills

(7) Mentoring program for selected game companies 

(8) Set up exhibition pavilion to promote 12 newly launched games in Tokyo Game Show 2020

(9) An experience sharing seminar by participating companies to share the lessons learnt in project to game developer community.

We’re looking for a Marketing Executive / Marketing Assistant to help us run a high-profile 12 months (from April 2020 to March 2021) industry support project:

Job duties:

The Marketing Executive / Marketing Assistant will assist the Project Manager/Director to deliver below

- Organize industry briefing and training

- Recruit application from interested companies

- Run vetting committee and mentoring sessions

- Prepare guideline, reimburse funding subsidy to companies against milestones

- Conduct promotion campaigns

- Organize HK Pavilion in Tokyo Game Show 2020  

- Chasing, and checking receipts of all expenses of all subsidized companies for auditing

- Chasing feedback from participating companies for project reports

Requirements:

- Degree in Communication/Animation/Event Management or related fields

-  1-2 years in marketing/animation/event organizing experiences (less experience will be considered as Marketing Assistant)   

- Excellent command of English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
